This guy has been around for ever but if anyone needs a new or wants a spare motor I noticed he has the GT motor (looks complete W/SC)

http://www.karkraft.com/new_engines.htm

That is the GT500 engine, not our engine. Quite a bit of difference in content & price. If you can get a GT engine for $15K, purchase as many as you can (quickly). :biggrin

This page lists several motors scroll down and you will see the GT motor all dressed brand new and on the pallet (36,995).

When I was at the Romeo Niche plant 2 months ago they only had one GT motor in stock left on the shelf.

why would anybody need to buy the complete motor with blower and all accessories? If it pops, have it built by an engine shop for about 1/3 the cost.

I have traded Shelby & BB Ford parts with this guy some years ago. If it's the same guy, his name is Scott Minch. He always treated me right.

Yep thats him. KarKraft built the early Shelby's for Ford and he bought the company, which now handles parts as you see them on his website.:wink

Another friend of mine bought a bunch of 427 SOHC motors in the 70's (we all thought he was nuts) and amazingly made enough selling them years later to retire on. How many of us wish we still had new in the crate the.....or the....... 426 hemi, 427 side oiler, 289 HiPo, boss 302, boss 429, ZL1-427 I bet I missed one:biggrin

Yep. A neighbor of mine who really doesn't have much interest in Ford HP stuff has a nos 427sohc (4bbl) new in the H/M crate. He loves to show it off to us slobbering Ford guys but has absolutely no interest in selling it. I sold off a bunch of Ford hipo stuff back in the late 80's, early 90's. Much of which I wish I had now. Hindsight is 20/20.

Ford Racing sells the same motor for $995 less. What gives?

That's probably the "free freight" he's talking about in his ad.:eek
