I ended up doing a facsimile of that one night south of Bend Oregon, on my way back from Rally 13. Unexpected snow storm blew in and covered the main road. I was down to less than 25 MPH just trying to keep it between shoulders on US97. If you know that area, it's the middle of nowhere, so I couldn't really stop. I got to a motel and called it a night. I won't lie, even at less than 25 MPH, it was white knuckles. Trust me, Bridgestones don't work worth shit in snow.
I call it a regular Canadian driving day in the winter. I admit, somewhat daring and ambitious in a FGT but it really doesn't look that extreme. With the right winter tires (which I have on all my vehicle in the winter) it could be fun making a video like that.
