Question on tires

You're mixing Dunlops street tires w/ DOT slicks??? Are you mad in NC?

Drove a FGT with this set up... IT WAS GREAT!

we all seen it - It's Joe's TT GT.

No Snow Plowing and plenty of grip!

and yes this is MAD (not crazy) in NC

BTW - Torrie, you are runing GY's with R6's aren't you?

There are no great choices by any company for rear tires on the stock rims. If you don't mind running 345x35x19 on a the stock rims, but the stock rims are a little too narrow for the best fit. On the front there are a lot of good choices.

I have that size in the Bridgestones. The rims are a fuzz narrow, but personally I like the look of a little side wall bulge better than the straight side walls.

Was until I wore the GY's out. Now I have the R6 out back as usual with 245/40/18 Dunlops on the front. Was looking for something a hair wider and softer to increase grip.

Now once I get back from Vegas it will be R6's on all for corners woot !
