Is there a way to delete a post that you made in error? Posted one twice because it looked like it didn't post but it actually did?

Yes.
Click on "edit post"...you'll then see "save"/"go advanced"/"delete"/"cancel" pop up.
Click on "delete" and follow the 'instructions'. (You'll need to 'check' 2 [or 3?] "delete" 'boxes'.)

Are you asking about a reply or the first post to a new topic?

I also went back to edit this one and don't see any regular or advanced options to delete. I've always just edited the text to say "duplicate"

Any post made in reply to some other post should be 'cancellable'. God knows I've cancelled a slew of 'em. :willy
