Porsche 997GT3 RS vs Ford GT on track in Germany

Awesome race video I stumbled across on Youtube. At about 4:00 mark the video goes inside the 997 cockpit and you can see the GT for 6 laps or so. I think something breaks on the GT on the last lap, he just slows on a straight. Awesome video:

Im not sure ... it looks at 2:57, the non-in-car part of the video, that the GT wins the race, as he clearly receives the checker with a significant distance ahead of the 997. I'm wondering if the last part of the in-car video might be a cool-off lap.
