Used the rears for 1-2 months and started using R6's all the time (was gonna keep them for a street tire but like the R6's too much). Fronts I had on the car for 10-12 months (some of this time was during my rebuild).

They come with 6/32 tread from the factory and all four are at just over 5/32 now.

The 345's are "speed" tires. The approx 1/2" shorter height has the same effect as changing the rear gear ratio. For me the increased accelleration gain was about equivalent to the gain from the smaller pulley. If you want to go faster for cheap...this is a great way!

If the rears are 1/2" shorter how much shorter are the fronts?

I measured my identical set of Pilot Sport Cups on the rear - the rears are 3/4" shorter (1½" in diameter) than the Goodyear Eagle F1's. I have the 235/40ZR18's on the front, and they are ½" shorter (1" in diameter). Great track tire for road courses.
