Any New Englanders interested in a Performance Corral during the 2012 American Le Mans Northeast Grand Prix at Lime Rock Park July 7th?

Admission tickets for race day are $66 in advance for adults age 13 and over; all past and present military members get free admission with identification as such. Corral tickets (not included in admission ticket) are $15 per car for any general fan who wants to bring an appropriate vehicle, or $10 for Kaizen Tuning customers with our Kaizen-specific discount code. The code is KAIZEN2012. You will be able to redeem this at the end of your checkout process.

Parade laps will be provided at a Lime Rock-determined time for the first 50 cars to arrive.

Sounds like a great deal, Ron. Hope you can pull the northeast guys together for a great race!

:thumbsup :thumbsup

Lime Rock

Rocketman,

Are Long Islanders welcome? :confusedI was going up in the 430 but if you can put this together it would be more fun in the GT......:thumbsup

I've done this with my NSX group, we had a "corral", a hospitality tent sponsored by Honda/Acura, and we had 50 cars, they let us all on the track for a few parade laps, lots of fun. I'm not sure yet of my plans for then, but would certainly like to work it in.

Sounds good. I just put it on my calendar. Who else?

I'd be interested.. Just depends on the scheduling for that month.

All welcome to join!

I hope to be able to go. I have travel reservations for Saturday but may be able to push them back a day.

Stu,

You must come and you must bring #1075

Jimmy,

I can do that.

Lime Rock is one of my favorite places. I'm putting it on the Calendar.

Thanks Ron!

Bill we can meet at Lime Rock then head to Bourne, MA as that is kind of where I am off to after I change my travel plans. Lol

Stuey, going to my fav fishing spot?:confused

Hi Stu,

The GT hasn't been to Bourne yet. We almost made it a couple of years ago. My wife managed to condense the packing to the point where it would work, but then the weather looked bad so we aborted taking the GT. Turned out the weather was fine all the way to Providence, and I was really kicking myself for chickening out. Then all of a sudden the sky got black as sin, and we ran into an unbelievable downpour. Had to pull off the road in the car - would have been really scary with the GT - so it turned out we made the right choice.

I've always wanted to have the GT up in Mass for a little while in the summertime. There's a weekly car show (cruise) at the Votech school in right in Bourne, and plenty of other neat things to do, so it would be fun to show the GT around to folks. Maybe this is the year and Lime Rock the opportunity to try it again. I will definitely keep it in mind. Thanks for the suggestion.

Bill

Mine has been through Bourne..... Well not that much of a stretch for me, as I live on the coast on the south shore..... (SO, how's this for a useless post)

Actually heading to MV. The way they pack the cars in on the ferry I do not plan on bringing the GT. Just stop at home after LRP on Sat., and leave Sunday. Now that this thread has been sidetracked last get back to business. Thanks Ron for posting the idea. How do we go about registering for the Ford GT car corral and let's get a head count.

Stu

Ron,

Stu asks a very good question. Do we have a site to pre-register at?

TKS!

We are joining the Kaizen group.

I can't make the July date, but for those of you that are thinking about going, it's a great day!!

John

Ron,

Need some clarification. Went to the LRP website for ticketing and under Car corral for that day the Kaizen Group is listed as "Japanese Performance"...so our GT's will be with "rice rockets"? the only other corrals listed are Porsche and Corvette I'll buy my ticket once I know.
