I am new to the site and I am interested in purchasing a low mileage , well cared for GT. I would like Blue or white 2005 - 2006 less than 4000 miles. I have one in mind , but it is a Canadian Shipped car? Any advise as to the Pro's and Con's of the Canadian Shipped cars vs the US? Thanks Steve

Minimal differences. Gauges have icons rather than words. Front and rear bumpers are beefier/heavier. Daytime running lights. No McIntosh stereo. Everything else the same. In the past, Canadian cars have sold a little cheaper. Watch Bring a Trailer.

Unless you're looking for a private sale, here's a site showing current GT auctions and the results of prior https://www.classic.com/m/ford/gt/1st-gen/base-model

And these dealers often have 1 or more GT in stock, and both seem to have a good reputation re prior GT sales:

Desneux Motorsports https://desneuxmotorsports.com/vehicles

Elite Autos https://www.eliteautosllc.com/default.asp?page=xAllInventory

And this link should show you all of the GT listings nationwide on Autotrader, including the ability to see only Private Sellers listings (although it says 0 right now) https://www.autotrader.com/cars-for...es=d&isNewSearch=true&sortBy=derivedpriceDESC

Welcome! ... and good luck!

Thank you for the replies. Any thoughts on the value of the US Shipped GT VS Canadian GT?

Don't think there's really a value difference, since it's essentially the same car, unless you're importing it from Canada to the US and want to deduct a little for that. I've never imported a car, but everything I've read they say importing from Canada is easy. Of course, YRMV!
