This past Saturday, after a long wait - my '05 Yellow (2nd) GT finally arrived. I saw it go live on E-bay just before Christmas and called Shelby the instant I saw it. The car as he described, was apparently brand new in the factory wrapper, with all stickers on the windows and tags hanging off the shifter. I thought, "that'd be a very cool acquisition". I did the deal in seconds, and wasn't even in the market for another GT, leave alone another car, for now.

Well, my jaws dropped when she arrived. She is brand spanking new without even a swirl in the paint...and every single factory sticker intact and in place. The steering wheel has the original plastic wrap on it and the sils have the blueish tinted plastic on them. Nothing out of place from the way it was shipped from Ford!

The car is a gem. She was purchased as art and will never be driven or even licensed to be on the road. I have the white one for that.

Just wanted to to say thanks to Shelby for yet another fine and painless purchase. As I knew it would be, the car is even better than he described it to be!

Second car bought from him - both sight unseen and not a single issue with either transaction. I grin from ear to ear when I walk into my garage and see them both sleeping there -

I will post pics when I'm able to take a decent shot in there...right now lighting is a problem and the cars shoot badly.:thumbsup

Great post, you lucky so and so! Looking forward to your pictures. I would like to see the wrapping on this virgin Gal!

Pics pls

We're under snow and to take a decent pic, she needs to be outdoors...something that won't happen for a few weeks, with yet much more snow on the way over the next few days. But, in honor of that hot babe in your avatar, I'll post one of my fiancee now...here you go! While she's not a GT, and no doubt, a more costly investment, she's mine, she's hotter than my GT's and I'm crazy about her! LOL

Well done on all fronts

Well done on all fronts

Massive understatement. Skip the GT photos, more of the fiancée ;)

Thanks - LOL

A huge Congratulations to you FBA!
I was fortunate enough to take delivery of my 2005 Midnight Blue GT as you did, with all the wrappings in place.
You are one lucky man, cars and ladies!

Congratulations on another. I saw it while I was down in Jonesboro the other week. That is truly as new as it gets.

Congrats. This sickness will not stop until you convince yourself that no one needs a GT in every color. Enjoy...

Or until you have one in every color. And model year :)

I think I'm done with GT's for now...maybe, LOL. Next on the hit list is a Murci...and a 3500 HD DRW, but not today. I'm outta room and need to buy another home - one that has at least 4-6 bays in the garage.

@DBK - so if you saw that car, you know exactly what I'm talking about!

Nicely done on all fronts! I also saw your car -as I was at Shelbys shop when I purchased it's (red) sister.

Really (really!) a beautiful car!

Ahhh - so you got one of the other two cars with the same mileage on it! Congratulations - well done!!!

Life is good north of the border! That strong C$ is paying dividends. Time to move back home. Congrats on both fronts.
