The value of Bob Bondurant's replica ERA car is not in the chassis, but in the engine. It was one of the spare Factory engines that were taken to Le Mans with the original cars. Not sure about $5M though....

Ralphie is correct. Bondurants Car is a ERA with some original parts. Specifically the engine. It is not truly a survivor GT40...But it is still cool as hell!

They are 2 different cars - the one that Bondurant owns is an ERA with a spare Factory engine.

Bob's car was built as a replica of the original that you have posted, which he had driven originally. You can see the body differences in the pictures.

That's not the car in either video. Different front end. The car in the video matches the one on Gooding. Are you saying that the one in the video is original and not Bob's?

Yes, I think the one in your video is the original - it has the taillights and front end of the original - it's just not Bondurant's.
