My new GT just arrived...fresh off of Gary Almond's trailer!!

Wow!!
The last week felt like an eternity, but, Gary saved the day and delivered my GT this evening.

I purchased the car from a dealer, sight unseen, and I had Gary give it a thorough inspection before loading it on the truck!! Having a smaller operation with someone who takes pride in his work really pays off and left me with a great peace of mind that I would never feel from one of the huge companies.

I chose an 05, Silver with black stripes. Once the car arrived I knew I made the right choice in color. The Silver looks very clean and classy, and coincidentally, it almost perfectly matches all the painted bars and trim in the engine compartment as well as the aliminum wheels. The black stripes is a perfect bold accent that really looks great with the interior. All in all, I couldn't be happier.

Tomorrow it gets my special detail treatment, and then, weather permitting, I would love to put at least 100 miles on it before sundown.

FYI...I HIGHLY recommend Gary for transporting GTs. He has the side door so you don't need to climb in the window, and the trailer is beautiful. I am as picky as it comes to cars, and I felt totally confident and safe having Gary ship mine.

Nice pics! It was a long week, huh? It was a pleasure meeting you and thanks for letting me transport your car. I've transported 4 of these amazing cars in the past week and a half and every one of them is a work of art.

Congratulations and thanks for posting the pics! The silver/black exterior is subtle, elegant, and does work very well with the interior. And Gary is the real deal, a certified car freak like the rest of us. Have fun and be safe!! :banana

Congrats - the car will change your life and views about:
- work, can't wait to get home and drive
- wife, spend more time with the car and not her
- weather, the bad days are more and more noticeable. You'll be checking the local weather radar looking for a gap to dive. And when it is bad you'll be on the forum :cheers

I saw your car up close a few weeks ago (I live 5 minutes from Banner). I recently spoke with one of the sales managers and asked him how he "did" on your car. His reply was "terrible". Congrats :thumbsup
