I definatly feel for people in hard times. You know me metalman. I am a pretty easy going guy. I just dont buy it on this guy. He has drug me and others around several times with no end to his stories. And I still stand behind my beliefs on letting a car get repoed. If this guy was losing $50k a month, were did he get his money to drive to cabo 2 months ago. Sounds like the person holding the loan on the car more or less paid for that trip. Seems as though he should have been saving the money to make his payments. Ok, I am done ranting. I am gonna leave this subject alone now.

BTW, your new TT looks amazing, congrats!

Thank you!!!. We really hi-jacked this guys thread! :biggrin

I would guess the car will go for around $100,000-125,000. Chase will have a fairly low figure on it due to the miles. Exotics typically don't have that kind of mileage.

Any advantage that he gets by buying his car back will be lost when Chase or whoever they sell the account to, goes after the remaining balance, plus interest and attorney fees.

In my working life, my company bought these type of accounts, and if we ever found out that the previous owner repurchased the account, we did every thing we could to collect from them. In most cases, we went back after the car if state law allowed attachment of autos on judgments.

Just my .02 cents worth, it would be very rare for any bank to repo a car that was only two months behind if the borrower was making any effort to stay in contact with them and explaining the circumstances. They would much rather work with the customer than take a hugh loss.

Sorry my beloved bony!

My last post.

Thank you for the information.
My only question is... Since every one in this forum is a expert on the FORD GT. What will my car for realistically sell for...

Thank you....No more postings for me. I will cancel my login and password.

Good luck to every GT owner....

take a deep breath, get a good night sleep. Do what you have to do and let us know the outcome. Nobody wants to kick you when you're down, why should you? I think the problem is nobody really has an answer to your question.

Poor Bony. :lol

Climax GT

Don't go away! Be a Spectator/Former Owner until, perhaps, someday you might be FGT Owner again. I'm sorry for your business downturn. Hang in there!

Ed

PS Thanks Bony for all your work on the Forum! Let's go wine tasting with Mario!

with empathy comes undrestanding, good luck

I would say with the miles to treat the value like a salvage car, so $100k to $120k tops.

even though I may not agree with some of the things you are doing, no one expects you to go away. Good luck with your future ventures

this thread would have been situation normal on the Vette Forum or Ferrari Chat.
I am not a happy camper... no reason to go after people.
It will not be allowed to be repeated, or I will follow Climax out of here.
