It took two years to build this car. Besides my Ford Gt, it is absolutely my dream car. The car is perfect down to every nut, bolt, wire etc. I have inspected every inch of the car and have also had two very close friends who are experts in older cars do the same and draw the same conclusion.
The group that built the car are THE experts on the 1967 Mustang. That is all they do and all they know, Classic Recreations out of Yukon Oklahoma. They built all of the Eleanor cars for the movie Gone in Sixty Seconds and they are the only ones lincensed by Shelby in the world to build the Shelby GT 500 CR. They take an original 1967 Mustang and do all the body work down to metal and convert it into what you see which is the Shelby GT 500 CR. There is a 1 and half year waiting list for this car if you were to order today and this is number 16. Most of the cars have actually gone overseas and there is only a few (maybe 3) other ones in the US. The car is / will be in the Shelby Registry and is titled as a 1967 Mustang. It is not a recreation etc.. It is a 1967 Mustang.
This is a continuation car, yes, but it is not the Unique performance disaster from years ago. Those cars were junk, not what they said they were and were just poor builds. This is a totally different deal. The car and build speak for itself.
I need to sell the car for a number of reasons of which NONE are the car. It kills me to sell it but I need to. I am hoping I see it off to a good home and would love if a member gets it. If you are interested please email me at [email protected]. I have already had a number of offers that I have turned down. Below is the link with pictures and information. This is my friends shop and he is helping me sell it but please contact me directly.
