I believe I read on one of the threads about this car that the donor GT was in fact damaged. 'Belonged to a Forum member if memory serves.

I spent a good amount of time with the builder and owner of that car. Donor car was a total, bought from someone here on the forum. The owner tells me that he checks the forum often, looking for parts and info.

blasphemy

I liked this car. A lot of creativity. Yes of course, be better if the crashed GT was repaired, but if it couldnt, this was a good use of its "heart". Ironically vette chassis components.

The build pictures on their site are ridiculous. This thing must have taken thousands of man hours to complete.

I believe one of the Eckert guys told me it took something like 10K(?) man hours over 3 years...but I was too focused on the car at the time.

It was 'a bunch' anyway...

APSOLUTLY to best Mustang I have ever seen,,,Ridiculous

In my wildest dream did I ever think some one would marry a 69 mustang to a GT but I did wonder what it would be like and drive like if some one had enough talent money and time to do something like this, I just feel lucky that I'm in a world where other people are bringing my dream to reality :) I like this car.
