THIS ENGINE AS PICTURED IS BASICALLY JUST HAND BOLTED TOGETHER.
 
KAR KRAFT ENGINEERING is a renowned engine builder dating back to the early days of NASCAR and TransAm. If memory serves, they have always been associated with Ford, building cars and engines for/with Smokey Yunick, Bud Moore, and Dan Gurney to name a few.

This is true!

They are also the ones responsible for the modifications to the shock towers and engine bay of the '69-'70 Mustang Boss 429 to fit the BOSS 429 engines in them!

I've dealt with them in the past and they were very professional and prompt!

I think the boss 429s were there for final assembly also. You could buy a boss 9 off of ther website a year ago. You might still be able to.
 
Still needs rings if I read it right.
