Curious about how much driving everyone is doing with their GT (or GTs for some :biggrin ) now that summer is upon us.

Had my my GT for 2.5 months and just passed 2000 miles today.

Sadly summer has yet to arrive in the UK - it continues to rain. This in combination with a hose ban means I don't want to take any of my nice cars out as I can't clean them.

Mine has 1,000 miles on the dials, however I have two reasonably long trips planned and I expect 5,000 miles by mid-August.

Crazy government bans on how to use water. In California we had a similar ban on hose washing, but they allow us to fill a bucket with water and then use it to rinse the car. If they priced water correctly they wouldn't be any shortage at all. Just like the situation with petrol in the US. A lot of people complain about the price, but not the availability. Only when pres. Nixon had a price freeze did we have lines at the pump.

I've had mine for almost a month now... still only 250 miles or so on the clock... but my new driveway was completed on Friday... I'll be able to drive the car a bit easier now.

Owned three days with 16 miles on it. Spending much time on this Forum and/or inhaling Zaino fumes. Oh, no...I have more posts on the forum than miles on the car. I need to get my priorities straight.

I humbly suggest that we state our posts/mile ratio. This is like power/weight ratio but a great deal more irrational.

I have about 2,500 miles. 10% of them going back and forth to the dealer :ack
Third trip tomorrow for a door noise.

Drove it to a Mercedes dealer today looking for a new car for my wife. couldn't get much service from the sales people, they were all gawking at my GT :wink
They had and SLR there for about $450K that I sat in. I don't have a fat A$$ at all, but I just couldn't fit in the seat. I wear size 34's, who do they sell those things to?
And man was it hard to get in and out of.

I've got about 250 post and 2,500 miles, that's one post per 10 miles. I may need to work on my priorities too. :biggrin

About thirty three hundred times as many smiles - driver - passenger and passer

Have just ordered new set of rear tires. Fronts look good for at least 10 k more.

Get 'em out of the garage and on the road.

See you at the Rally. :thumbsup

I'm embarrased to say I've had the car for a little over two weeks and am still breaking it in at 140 miles. It's been a pleasurable 140 miles.

More importantly, I've made a number of new friends on this forum because of the car.

????? With all your posting I kinda figured you were about to trade that old worn out GT for a new one! :lol
1525mi. on mine.

I've owned since Oct 05 - 2.6k miles and hoping the rear tires hold to Detroit when I drive there. Fronts are great. Need to baby the backs ones though - see ya there Jeff!

Bought 2.5 weeks ago...260 miles. Just starting and will be racking up the miles. Daily drive is my 2005 Porsche Cayenne Turbo with the good ole' bike rack. GT is more fun to drive, except off-road where the Porsche is a blast...yes, I drive it offroad! Why the hell else own one of these.
