Michigan tuner for my GT

Wednesday I am taking my 06 to Alternative Performance for a KB Acccufab SCT Tune. Some of you may know Lidio as he has a stellar rep. I used him to SC my Mercury Maurader, a few F-150's and a new stang. Check his site out if you get a chance.( http://www.alternativeauto.com/ ) If the past is any reflection of his future we northern speed freaks could have a place to tinker on our Gt's. Wish me luck!

Keep us posted, if I was in Michigan I would only let Dennis or Rich of THE GT GUYS touch my GT. They are the best, nobody knows a GT like these two guys.

Nothing to be forgiven for, that's what this place is for.

The rebuild wrecked cars, install performance upgrades and do routine maintenace. Far, fast and know exactly what they are doing. Your lucky to have them nearby.

May sound like a commercial, but they have earned my respect and loyalty.
 
Bony is, for once, 100% percent right on target. These guys are the absolute best and will bend over backwards to do your service at your convenience. Various groups of GT owners have flown them in to work on groups of cars in different locations of the US. They can change a clutch in 45 minutes. Most of us met them at the rally. First rate and top notch.
 
They flew out to California to work on some car including mine. Great, knowledgeable guys, 1st class work! If you are near them in MI you are in luck. I think it would be safe to say that these guys have more experience working on GTs then anyone you will find at any Ford dealer. Have you read some of the horror stories of work done by some of the dealers? Why take a chance? Another good choice may be Saleen, who built most of the car.

Like the old cliché "you get what you pay for."

Opps, you ask about a tuner. I don't know if the GT guys do custom tunes, but I would trust their advice on where to go if they didn't specialize in tuning. FL seen to have a wealth of great tuners.

Well thanks a bunch everyone. I will look up the GT guys as well. Lidio at Alternative is really a serious tuner who should have been a engineer. He is often used as a consultant buy SC and Turbo manufactures. You see him in a ton of Drag racing magazines. Anyhow I will keep you posted. Nice sunny day in Michigan so the GT is about to rip up and make some hourse power with dry 39 degree weather.:banana
