Gullwing doors are drop dead gorgeous.

Its like a supermodel...you will be staring uncontrollably at those doors.....

I just saw two of these outside my apartment in NYC / SoHo....one Works Silver, the other Dark Blue

Mercedes definitely picked the right spot to show it off, with hot Models walking by and around the corner from the old CBGB.

In one one word, its stunning. Very muscular, low, wide, hunkered down, and creases/details in body that doesnt come across in pics. The back is tappered and wraps the wheels/exhaust ports.

The exhuast note is exactly like the Ford GT.

They have a winner; this will be sold out.

I want to like it. I just don't. I'm sure it will be very nice to drive and very well made, but I don't find any of it particularly good looking. At least it's different.
 
I used to think same.

In person, its really wide and the grill very deep inset.

When the doors open, it has this mesmerizing octopuss / cobra rearing effect that freezes you in place.
 
I will let you know..I ordered one yesterday...still don't know the real numbers but the order guide is in place and my dealer placed an order..
Probably see it around April...:wink
Until then, My Rossion has finally been completed and I will pick it up week beginning 11/16. This is a pistol to drive..amazing handling and fast as anything I have ever driven..

FYI:
Robert Cumberford, style guru @ Automobile mag absolutely hated it (he loved the GT, BTW). He's kind of eclectic in his choices, but was highly critical of the new Benz.
 
That exhuast note in 2nd vid. sounds off...
