Memorable drives

I just got back from Corsica. Perimeter road along the coast incredible drive. Unbelievable views. However scary at times with narrow roads, often cannot fit 2 cars across ( with occasional tour buses!). No barriers to speak of with occasional 1000+ ft drops (I have fear of heights!). Goats and cows on the roads!! Occasional avalanches with stones on road! It is a popular road for car clubs to drive on. However not ideal for high power super cars because of the tight turns (the GT would be a handful especially because of the width and no traction control ). with all the motorcycles sometimes reminded me of the Isle of Man!! ( can they drive those bikes!!). I visit europe often, biked many roads. I haven't seen much like this one!
What are your great drives?
 
 
The "Mil Cumbre" (road of 1000 summits) between Toluca and Morelia in Mexico.

Dalton Highway, Alaska.
 
I-55 between St. Louis and Chicago. No hills, no mountains, no debris, 3 lanes wide in many places, flat as a pancake, few bumps or holes, nice fast driving. My experience had been the passenger gets to see all the sights while I have to worry and concentrate on the road conditions. The Rally in Utah was the perfect example - sheep crossing the road. If I want scenic, I'll drive something else. At one time we entertained shipping cars to Europe and could have bribed officials in Croatia to close off a long stretch of coast highway for a run. That's supposed to be beautiful.

The last one which for now was last Oct 20th, 8000' feet up, three hours before the first big snowstorm hit. The flakes were just beginning to sprinkle when the garage door went down. Can't wait for the next one!
