I had a fun time both Friday and Saturday even though it was raining. It was great to meet Gary and Cookie. The drive up from BMC on Saturday morning was fun as well. It's good to know that Hoosiers with a few channels cut in them will work pretty well in the rain (Gary's car)! Ed and Gary's cars looked really cool going down the road from my point of view!
The rain kept the older cars at the event going a bit slower as one would imagine, but those guys were working pretty hard to keep things brisk and under control. Sadly at the end of the day on Saturday a Ferrari 250 Lusso was badly damaged right at the end of the race in turn 8/8a. Not sure of the cause since the track was pretty dry by then and the driver was very experienced.
As mentioned, the Challenge field was a bit thin and even thinner due to some accidents prior to Sunday that, I believe, kept a couple of cars out of the action for the rest of the weekend. Not as exciting as prior years, but still cool. I go for the vintage stuff anyways.
I am still working on photos from the two days, but some of my stuff has already been posted:

(sorry, no FGT photos there, try here instead: http://atspeedimages.com/search.php?s=Discovery+Automotive )
More will trickle in over the next day or so.
Thanks to everyone for their efforts in helping to organize the weekend for us GT folks! Let's do it again next year and hope that the rain will stay away.
