I was down at Cars and Coffee saturday and had a blast but went over to the store just to make sure...

Just the retail store in Irvine.

How yo doing Doc?

This was posted on a mustang forum, doesn't mean it's true, but it's interesting, and I don't know the SF of the space, or whether they had any back room:

"the floor space for that store was about $24k a month"

I never understood that store. I think they saw it working in Japan and wanted to try it.
I'll give them credit for trying. They are a great company. I wonder where Wally is hanging out selling his crappy hateful books?

Welcome Alex! Enjoy the car and as already stated, be careful in cold weather. All that HP and cold tires:eek.

Isn't it great that our two countries now seem to be more interested in swapping cars and other goods rather than harsh words.:cheers

I think your post might have been meant for a different thread.....

That was a really nice store, but one of the highest $ per Sq. Ft centers in the OC. Not too surprised.

24K a month????????? Surely one could build one's own BUILDING for a whole lot less than that? :eek

I am current;y renting a hous in the Palisades Riveria, whislt the insurrance comanpy pays to have my house remodeled after a termite sprayer broke my attic water pipe and flooded the house. Rent is $36,000.00 per month. Insurrance is covering it!

Eric,
I need the name of that termite company!
I want to hire them.

$36k a month would may the mortgage for my double wide for four years:lol

What's the world coming to?

As an Illinois kid, I seem to remember cruising around there on a trip with my father. I carried my instatic camera looking at old WWII airplanes about 30 yrs ago. I ate lunch at Flo's last about 5 years ago. Another legendary airport greasy spoon of my childhood sadly lost. How about the place at Corona? Bob's Chilli and Chow? I got to fly a chopper in there. Awesome!

Thanks for the memories. . .

I think my next trip will be to the Saltan Sea with the GT..... don't know why... probably because I just watched into the wild...

Pops and I have many a fond memory of looking at WWII planes then packing our stomachs with the best biscuits and gravy on the planet.
