Hopefully, I have gone from "lurking" to owning. Shelby is putting me in an 06 white/blue. I know that is not THE most popular color in general but it is for me. I had a white/blue Commemorative Edition Viper I still miss.

I am trading my 06 Viper coupe which I will dearly miss but I still have an 09 Vert (and a 92)

I guess she will come rolling in next week and I am anxious.

Thanks for all your help.

White / Blue is the original Le Mans / Shelby livery in '60s

Probably the most original colors of all GTs

you won't regret it. That's for sure.

Congrats!! There is no popular color, just the one you like!! Enjoy.

CONGRATS, 'drummer! :thumbsup:thumbsup :cheers

Congrats! Shelby is a good guy.

GTED has it right. The most popular color is the one that makes you the happiest. Congrats and welcome to the insanity!! For the sake of your wallet stop using the Forum now!!! :wink :cheers

I own the two worst colors according to some; Red & White and a White & Blue, wouldn't have it any other way! It's about what you want/like! I'm thinking of going for the trifecta but don't know what the third "worst" color would be!:lol You will love the car when she shows up, be safe and enjoy.

Believe no doubt in my mind..... The minute that FGT rolls off the transporter you will forget all about the Viper. That would apply regardless of color.

Congrats.

Blue is the only logical conclusion. :biggrin

Frank would point out that the red with white strips side ain't bad either.

Welcome to our cave and enjoy your new gal:cheers

Congrats and welcome to the madness and joy.

Prepare yourself for a whole new experience. I owned and enjoyed an ACR at the same time as the GT. (I wrote a review of them both that you can find with a simple search).

You will not be disappointed, and go easy on the throttle when its cold out (and especially when the wheel is turned) and until you get the feel for it. Having driven a Viper, you probably already know the drill: thumbsup

Looks like she makes a good argument for Red, White and Blue.:lol

Congrats !! :cheers and Welcome . You're going to love the GT !!

Unfortunately true; only so much driving time in the day and since I got my FGT in '06 my poor '00 GTS only gets the occasional battery charge run. :frown

Welcome to the forum and enjoy!

I know there are a bunch of Viper owners here. It is funny when I tell my Viper buddies I am getting a GT there is an almost universal "I am jealous" attitude even though Vipers including my 09 have surpassed GTs in terms of HP etc.

It seems almost all the Viper crowd would love to have a GT and could care less about stuff like ZR1s

I looked at ZR1s and drove them but my problem was with all the speed etc from 50 paces (10 with my eyesight) they look no different than a $40K Vette Coupe.

Then again I traded an 8 month old M5 on a new CTS-V and never looked back. Part of it was buying American but in truth the V is a better car at $30K less.
