The tach is a video game because an analog needle is not fast enough!!!

But for the same money as a Gallardo Spyder AND a GT2 (or a couple of TT GT's), I think I'll pass. :lol

340,000 Quid!!! That's like $550,000 USD!!!

Pro,

You have that right. I could not believe the price they put on that car. I'll take my GT over that car anytime. Besides, I really don't appreciate the styling....

Too much for a Lexus, too little power, too big of a price tag... IMO

..and a top speed of 202...0-60 in 3.7. The FGT is faster & quicker for faaaaaaaar less $$$ - STOCK!

AND THAT'S 6 YEARS (+ OR -) DOWN THE ROAD AFTER THE FGT FIRST HIT THE STREETS! They had a stationary target to shoot at and couldn't "hit" it! :lol

For the anticipated $350k, I'll take a FGT and a new Mercedes Gullwing

I'll take 2 more FGT's and I'll buy a Bimmer for HHGT (sammy) :wink
with that kind of dough!!!

I like the car and would like to drive one, but $550K for a Lexus makes about as much sense as a $100K Volkswagon......oh yeah.....that actually happened too. :lol

No offense intended to anyone who bought a Phaeton new..........well maybe a little offense.

Yeh, but they couldn't sell that 100K Volkswagen, so they put a Audi badge on it and reused the motor in Bentleys.

There was ONE 100K Vdub they might have been able to sell, if they built it. The Nardo. Dead cool car :thumbsup Here's some pics I found of it on Flickr.

But all this doesn't change the fact that, no matter how good it is, the LF-A is grossly overpriced. I've heard, I think from Sanjay, that you can't even buy an LF-A, leases only!!!

I like the look of that Nardo.... not seen one before.

Probably won't either except in a museum. I think they only built 3 or 4 concept cars (including one roadster). Pretty slick car though. W12 engine, 591 bhp, 458 ft·lbf, Top speed: 350km/h (218 mph), 0-100kmh (60 mph) in 3.5 seconds and just 1200 kg (2,640 lb).

Maybe it was the 'mule' for the Veyron?

+1 Very cool looking car.....and sounds like it had good performance too according to Pro.

In Europe can you "drive" a functioning concept car on the road or is it like here where it has to get DOT approval?

Wonder if they ever sell concept cars like that?? Be nice to have such a rare car.

I'm sure it is a very fine car and it sounds like they built a hell of an engine, but it's not good looking and it is just tremendously expensive. I would have realistically expected a price tag in the $150-200k range.

Let me see here, an over priced Toyota - Naaah!!!. Didn't Nissan make one called GTR - ugly and overpriced?? They can keep them both.
