Just saw this beauty at the LA Auto Show. The sign apparently needs to be updated, but when was this car actually built?

VIN looks like an "H" designation but livery looks like the new 2022 Heritage.

Jeeez, embarrassing that somebody didn't notice the sign (for the 2021 Heritage) doesn't go with the car they displayed (2022 Heritage). Unless they are still setting things up? And going to bring in a 2021 Heritage?

This has happened repeatedly. Happened at Woodward Dream Cruise with the 2020 Heritage. Please see the Velocity Invitational thread for insight.

It’s a very old car that has been refitted for marketing purposes in the new livery. It was originally Liquid Blue with Silver Stripes.

For posterity. Having the right people on the job actually matters.
“We’re on it” in less than 60 seconds and remediated before the big day.

I attend MANY auto shows and events throughout the year. At each event (for entertainment) I make it a point to review the information and the vehicles displayed - listening to the Product Specialist presentations as well. It never ceases to amaze me that no one seems to review the final display for consistency/integrity of information and product. I expect it is a product of the level of outsourcing among the various entities involved in the event production process, but there needs to be a much greater overview (and approval) from the manufacturer prior to the onset (media day) of the show/event. Kinda comes across like, 'each vent is a beta version, and we'll get it right later'. Customers (retail) attending events are pretty well versed/studied these days and are quick to pick up and point out obvious inconsistencies. Not to mention that the questions asked by attendees are trending to much more technical and insightful about product, brand and Company. Yep, DBK there is significant room for improvement. ;-))
