Showing off for Tommy Kendall, Joey talks about passing a GT4 car with a street version of the NFGT.

Or even better, your name and Monica's names on a race helmet!

Arrive on Wed and will be driving our VOLT Porsche GT4 and yes I wish they gave us more HP. It will be my first time around this street track. Believe it or not we only get 1 practice session (1 hour on Fri), 15 min warm-up on Sat right before the 15 min qualifying session. Then race on Sunday. 1 hour to learn the track! Better be a quick study!

FYI Hand has a bad case of the flu and will not be racing this weekend. Bourdais is going to do double duty this weekend and sub-in for him. Tough luck for Joey.

Kudos to Bourdais for doing double duty. That's gotta to be hard.

Sorry to hear Joey wont be racing.

I'll be flying out this afternoon for the race.

yes I read the article:( it's sad also because I was looking forward in seeing my hometown hero race :/ Nonetheless Sebastien will do a great job...I'm about to board the plane and then straight to the track for some sights and sounds......and all that wonderful racing smell. 75F for the high today. will be a great weekend😎

Briscoe #67 hit the wall a couple of times at practice...just cosmetic damage but they still replaced suspensions etc

the corvettes have an interesting cooling extractor fan in the back just below the logo...reminds me of the brabham F1 car of the 70s. BMWs are huge and have huge radiators for cooling. Porsche is dangerous on this track..

The GT is just so much more exotic looking! Apparently I only have eyes for Fords!

well the action wasn't all in GTLM but also in GT4! our very own Alan Brynjolfsson did an amazing practice session today in his Cayman GT4. He ran 9th in a field of about 20 cars if I remember well. There were a couple of close calls on turn 10 before the airpin but those didn't scare him or cause him to slow down...he was really pushing hard. More practice and then qualifying tomorrow. Good luck Alan! See you at the track!

tough day for the GT but they achieved the best result they could since the track favors the torque of the Corvette and the agility of the Porsche so 4th place on the grid is quite good.
