The new engine is in and operating quite nicely and after 500 miles of easy driving we made a few pulls on the dyno where the fuel limit was realized at the 1000hp mark.

This past week us and Stage 6 modified the fuel system to support up to 1500..

This included twin 60lbs injectors and additional fuel delivery.

Results so far are quite promising with a peak power output of 1181 RWHP and 1054 TQ......This my friends feels like a different car!!

This is with the same 35R Turbos that have been on the car since the install. We have the larger 45R's that Stage 6 may be installing next week if we get everything else done around our shops! LOL

Hi Tony,

That's amazing! What tire/wheel combo have you guys decided on for the street?

You need to feel that from the passenger seat ! I know I did today and cant wait for more. Then again I have what some call a sickness. :wink

I bet - too bad you're 3500 miles away from where I live! I'd love to try it, but then like Torrie I have the sickness so I'd end up doing the same thing.

Is there some reason Joe hasn't switched to the P-Zero Corsa's - are the Hoosiers better?

Have never tried the Corsa's.. So far the Hoosier's have done pretty well on Joe's GT..

I would be more then happy to take you for a ride in my car if you get down to FL :biggrin

It's a life changing event.

In what sizes are the P-zeros available? Source?

Nice!

I have been trying to keep up with this monster on the internet.

- Its great to see so many people coming together and putting a lot of blood and sweat to achieve a goal.

Cheers to the tuners and the mechanics for going out of their way to produce such an outstanding automobile.

I wish everyone who was involved in Joe's build (tuners ) , would work on corvettes :) :thumbsup

Best Regards
G

Bart,
I don't think they come in our sizes yet. Closest is the MC12, but won't fit us. If I hear news, will share.

It's a deal! I have buds in Orlando and Tampa - are u anywhere near there? PM me please so I can set my goals. I could use an excuse to visit FLA. One I'm working on with the missus is - your car is probably the most efficient way to clear the sinuses in Winter!

I am in NEFL in between jacksonville and daytona about an hour and a half away from orlando. Let me know I don't have to be asked more then once to pull that puppy out of the garage.

Qkstng514

What cluth are you using?? Are you using the stock PP??

AMB

I will be using the SPEC clutch just like Joe has now.

tmcphail

Is it a complete PP and DISKS or just the two disks??

AMB

It is a complete kit with flywheel, discs, floater, pressure plate..

Complete just as you would buy it from Ford. Except able to handle more than twice the power...

Great work Tony!

Hey Torrie, I may be in Florida this March. Would you be willing to extend a similar offer to me - as in take me for a blast?

Terry

Hell yes !
