Jason's Auto Spa Cruise 2008 *DUW*

Mikie, remember the Playboy Resort? :)

I remember the Playboy Club, plus all the rest in the Loop.

What was that bars name on the lake, right when you came into town called....... where all the Illinois brats use to go to?

hmmmmmm memories, lost ones but memories..... :rofl:cheers:cheers

Some of the bars were quite famous and other infamous but they all accepted phony ID's as a way of building a strong future customer base. I think the Playboy Club may also have been there :biggrin :cheers

Bars on Rush bring back any sweet memories?

Big deal was Ill was 21 for bars while Wisc was "Beer and Wine" at 18.... The roads were like speedways on a Fri night heading north - then worse at 2:00a heading south :ack

ah yes "Uncle" Herman"s place - the Berghof. OLD family friends. Grew up with their family in Boulder Jct. Wisc. Had places on the same lake (Trout Lake) and hung out every summer... Chi town was a great place to grow up, especially when your Grandma worked for the HERIU back then. Had my first Makers way back then at one of those places... Maybe even Mothers

And yes Jason - the infamous Brat Stop.... a must do on the way back from Milwaukee. 101 ways to kill a Brat!

Good night all. Wife is wondering why I have a smile on my face while on the PC. Probably thinks it's porn, would never understand it's cause of the memories!

- Cinci early AM tomorrow!

Fixed :thumbsup

Gene & Georgetti's, Italian Village (upstairs only), Jean Blanchet @ LeFrancais and of course Carlos.... Not to forget the nazi that owned LesNomade

Many good memories!

Cinci always has been a good bar and top dining town... we won't talk about what used to go on across the river in Covington...

Rush Street was probably the most appropriately named street in the USA and was my 2nd home several nights a week for a few short wonderful years. :cheers

Kirby, I think I stuck you with my bar bill, I just want you to know I am so sorry...
