1) Personally I hope it becomes a reality.

2) I also hope that if it does happen, those of us who would like to own one will not have to be teased and beg for a vehicle while being told that there is a large premium to pay if you are the lucky one to be selected for ownership.

Then again I am probably a dreamer on the above 2.

This stuff literally cracks me up. "The engineers at blue oval are busy developing a new supercar which will be launched with the haloed GT badge."

I mean really, no, they are not. :lol Alot of times when auto rumors get moving there's at least some tangential project that would lead to speculation. There's not even any basis for that rumor. Maybe they got confused that the engineers are hard at work on the 2015 Mustang GT.

I attribute all of this to "wishful thinking by the Automotive press".

The success of the modern Ford GT has created a void that needs to be filled.

If we are lucky, we may get what "they" wish for!

I beginning to think this rumor was started by Shelby to motivate some collectors to sell for fear of price drop. :lol

Shelby is somehow getting cars with lower mileage than EP's had, some still on MSO!

DBK is right, this is a total pipe dream....the problem is they have NOTHING else to talk about....
There mission now is econo high volume production transport. Are we all forgeting the new crash test revisions, epa ,gas mileage. Wishful thinking though...gtjoey1314
