This is an article I have found on a interesting modification to the new GT500! I figured you all would enjoy this. http://www.carbuzz.com/Article.aspx?Id=12340

Strange car - Gaplin Ford is a Shelby American factory-authorized mod shop so this car would compete with Shelby's car and brand???

The "wide" part is far too 'tacked-on' looking for me.

I like the sealed quarter windows. Ford has never gotten those to look good.

My opinion: Cheesy looking. Car-toonish.

But you know what they say about opinions.

And also there being an a-- for every seat.

Good luck to them.

It reminds me of Mercedes Black Series - just not done as well (the sill integration in particular).

Meh.

Love the Wheels, red interior and McIntosh amplifiers.

Flares are a bit too wide but I like the idea of a slightly toned down widebody.

Loose the shelf running along the door sill, Gives me visions of the hideous side view of an F12

I think it's icky.

That's a ridicoulous looking GT500. A shame for the original design that's completely lost

I think it's icky.

But, can you drink her pretty? :frown

I don't like the front end at all. I think Shelby got it right with this one: http://www.autoblog.com/2012/08/17/one-off-2013-shelby-gt500-cobra-debuts-as-tribute-to-carroll/

...after looking at it again, I don't like it at all. What's up with the goofy side panels? Rear end is way too wide. Ick.

The wheels are horrendous as well. They look like a 1980 Toyota cast wheel put on backwards.
