I noticed I'm missing a part, can you help me identify what it is?

When I was washing my car last I noticed I seem to be missing a black piece that hides behind the front nose piece. Does anyone know what this piece is and the part number?

I would pull your splitter off. 99% chance it is in there and then you very carefully silicone it back on..

I think it's where they were going to have brake ducts attach but because of cost overages with the project they scrapped putting them in.

5G7Z-17F888-AA should be the cover, if you don’t find it still in the front end.

Or, finish hooking it up.

You could also remove the cap from the other side for additional brake cooling at the expense of some increased drag.

Actually the car was supposed to have brake ducts. What happened was when they put the air conditioning hoses the hoses blocked the right front duct so instead of making them functional they just blocked them off. As they were on such a time crunch.
you can however do some rerouting and make them functional which is what I chose to do. Also keeps your front wheels cleaner!
quite a few people have just removed those little backing plates for additional cooling which I think it’s a better idea than having them blocked off.27846A6E-46F5-4A57-B04A-82D82756F7AA.jpeg
