I live in SoCal/San Gabriel Valley and have the Accufab and SCT tune on the Red/Wht. I am ready to plunge into a pulley change, but before I begin the research on which set-up, I would like to get a ride in a similar modded car running 91 Octane, or preferably drive one to personally experience the difference.

Any one of you guys up to it? I'll bring my Bondurant school certificate to prove I am a responsible and defensive driver..

Just do it. You WILL love it!!

If you're looking for any difference in driveabiliity, you won't find it. It literally drives exactly like stock except when you're on it. Little more whistle from the blower.

I'd let you if I were out there!

The car really is up to it. Then, it's such an impressive piece of kit, I'd love to see it tested in Topgear or somewhere, I am really soo impressed by it (as is everybode else).

As they say: Once you go bad, you never go back... or so.... :thumbsup

Sam at Sema I picked up the new Ford Racing Performance Parts catalog. Pages 11,12,13 have GT stuff. Coming soon Ford GT upgrade power package incl. 9mm smaller pulley etc. Call me I also have your CD,DVD's......George

No One in SoCal has the pulley upgrade????????

Sam, I suggest you PM HeritageBruce. He has the Accufab, Kenne Bell snout and pulley. I went for a ride and it is noticeably faster than stock.

I haven't ridden in Bruce's Heritage yet, but he fired it up for me at the first Irvine Ford show, and it sounded very impressive. He seemed very pleased with the mods as well.

I'll make you an offer. Buy a pulley from me. If you don't like it, send it back and I'll refund all of your money.

I'd say that is sufficiently self confident ! :lol :lol :lol

Does the supercharger snout change (e.g. kenne bell) offer any performance advantage or is it primarily to enhance the ease of pulley size swaps?

I like your confidence and may take you up on it. Please PM me costs and technical specifics.

Back to my question, any of your clients in SoCal and can you make an intro.

Thanks

Where does the nav unit mount to? I thought the stock location would not accomodate a 7" flip screen due to the starter button, etc. Also where did you get your seat lowered and how do you like it?

The 7" nav is mounted on the cradle which is then attached to the center vent opening so there's no drilling or touching the stock console and Mac radio whatsoever. MP3's from the Nav's built-in HD feeds to the aux. input of the Mac. I'll post pics of all the mods that are of interest to everyone in a few days in a separate thread.

It is primarily for ease of swapping pulleys, but also has a "vented" pulley bolt (relieves internal pressure/turbulence at high rpm/pressure). My KB setup arrived today, so I am going to find out what it can do. I am VERY impressed with the drive unit, the hardware and the tune software that came with it. I will be putting the tune on the stock car tomorrow just to see what it does (only one change at a time is the golden rule), and then my winter project will be to pull the blower and install the drive. I have 5 pulleys to choose from; 3", 2 7/8", 2 3/4", 2 5/8", 2 1/2" (stock is 3 1/4"). I am planning on going with the 2 7/8" or the 2 3/4" for now. I think a car with about 650 RWHP in a very mellow state of tune should be pretty cool (although I wish this car had more "cam" - it is a bit lame for my taste, even at high boost levels).
