Houston Area Dinner PART II

LOL on the "stock"

Had a great time last night,as always, it was really good to see everyone and meet some new members as well. when I was talking to the newbe's I was reminded of the time when I first bought my gt and all the good times I had meeting other members. Im sure the new members will have the same experience as we have all had during our ownership, this is truely a badass car and the fordgt crowd truely a class act! look forward to the next meeting, althoug I will bet we will see some at the upcoming texas mile event :)

WOW!!!! What an evening.......

John, We missed you. Torrie thanks for the pics. I will post some later. Soroush, we heard you hitting second gear from a 1/2 mile away. Your car sounds so good we were all sort of waiting for someone else to leave first after you and Jason left. haha Sanjay and Dave, THANKS for all the work. Brio's was fabulous and a great time. With 18 people you never get enough time to spend with each person. Tomy and Sue were as delightfull as always. Dave is off to London today and then China, he postponed his trip so they could participate. Jason was there from Minn. by way of Dallas. Sanjay's father attended, driving one of Sanjay's old Porsches. Whats up with that??? His dad was most impressed , out of all Sanjays cars, with his Navigator that has been modded. Do you have anything that is STOCK? A GREAT time was had by all and because of this I may even get my wife to ride in the GT again someday. Thanks to The Houston Motor Club for hosting our group with Wine and Snacks. Great looking place guys.

Larry Boatner

BTW- To all those in The Texas Mile this weekend, DRIVE FAST AND SAFE!!!!!!!!!

Hahahahaha, me and brian were wondering if you guys could hear the car from that far away, I figured you might, so I laid into it a little :)

I am so bummed that my trip means not only missing the Texas Cobra Weekend, but also the "battle of the giants" this weekend at the Mile. If the hottest GTs are judged on decibels then Soroush wins hands-down.
Had a great time last night, thanks to HMC for hosting the pre-dinner drinks. We should do this more often - maybe start meeting at folk's man-caves? Once again, Soroush would probably win the man-cave competition, at least for neatness!

Sorry to miss this one, but I'm sure you guys moved it from Sunday to Tuesday just so I wouldn't bring the R8! I've got a lot of cars moving around right now so we'll see what the next driver will be.

John

Thanks for putting it together. Had a great time.

Look forward to some day being back in Houston and meeting up with many of you. Hope to meet some of the Texas group at upcoming Rally VI.

Sanjay,

I wanted to thank you again for including Houston Motor Club in your evening and allowing me to share our concept with the group. What an awesome display of iconic machinery and a great group of folks to enjoy the evening with. I hope Brio treated you well and showed your group some extra love! I would like to welcome the Ford GT Club back anytime for your next get-together. Also, if you would like to get the word out about our Ford GT unveiling social March 30th from 6:00 – 8:30, I would welcome you to extend an invitation to all. This will be a really cool event, all outdoors in the Domain cul-de-sac. I look forward to seeing you soon.

Best regards,

Mark C. Solomon

Great evening. As usual, the Young at one end of the table and the older experienced GT owners at the other end. Guess where I sit? Sue won't let me sit with the young and restless. She says there way toooo wild for me. Loud exits were heard by all when the young and restless left the dinner.

Wait a minute, when did Torrie move to Houston? How can you guys NOT have any RED cars there?

Wait a minute, when did Torrie move to Houston? How can you guys NOT have any RED cars there?

Frank why do you ask questions you do not want to hear the answer to?:biggrin

Frank, Sorry but no red GT's showed up! When you make comments about Ralphie in other threads you get paid back. Torrie is the man driving 12 hours straight to make our Houston dinner on his way to the Texas Mile in his BEAST. Good luck Torrie in Goliad, Texas, It'll be a screamer. It's always great to see Torrie and his beautiful wife in Texas. You could have come too Frank, we have red GT's in Texas. You'd look great at the Texas Mile in that Neiman Marcus matching red driving suit. Ha Ha Frank you the man toooooo we love ya. Tomy

Sorry, I have to be in NYC. Having dinner with Gino next week. I'd love to be there. Don't forget, Ralphie belongs to the RED car brotherhood.

to your red one Franky
