Houston Area Dinner PART II


Great news!

Houston Motor Club is willing to sponsor us, which means we can have exclusive parking in the Domain culdesac, which is a 5 min walk from Brio.

. Furthermore, HMC will have a reception for us with drinks and snacks before we walk over to dinner, and they will have their fleet of cars around for your perusal (R8, Vantage, Gallardo, F430, DB9, 997, etc).

I need to give them a time and an exact head count....so everyone please chime in again if you can come, and at what time?

It's gonna be a great evening!

Me plus wife, anytime that works for the group. Last time I did a headcount there were 16-20, but I did not make reservations anywhere as you thought there might be better restaurants than Brio. there's actually a ton of good places to eat there, such as Straits, Cyclone, Eddie Vs, McCormicks, Yardhouse, etc.
 
So going by the previous list that Larry compiled, we have:

I personally like Brio, but it wouldn't be my first choice. Since the others David mentioned are all within walking distance......it anyone would rather do Straits (Asian Fusion, RA Sushi, Eddie V's, or Yardhouse (Bar food), feel free to chime in.

I'm thinking 630 to meet in the Culdesac with HMC/photos, then walk over to eat at 730 or 8. Comments?

Mrs Mongrel eats at City Center often with her "ladies who lunch" and reckons Eddie Vs is best.

I am in for qty of 1, 6:30 sounds good. Eddie Vs, Brio, or Yardhouse looks great to me - more a matter of which one can accomodate our group I suppose.

I have a new project of my own, born on 3/8.....

Contests Chris! Anytime is good for us (Mrs.). I am sitting on the balcony of our casitas at the Auberge Encatado in Santa Fe with a beautiful view and a cocktail in the other hand typing this out on my iPad. Plan to be back Friday.

Congratulations on the kiddo Chris - they are life-changing events, (mostly) for the better!
Is everyone showing up in their GTs? Some cool photo ops if so - the turn-around at Domain is a nice spot to line up the cars.
 
What's the date for this event? I will try to come if I am not traveling.
