Hadn't been to this great site for over a year, but recently I got a strange feeling, like the earth tilting on its axis, and now I know what it was: Ford actually fixed the axle bolt problem! Who would've thunk it?

Just stopping in to say hi.

And actually, there have been a couple silver and white no-stripe cars on ebay that look pretty good..................

You wouldn't be the first to re-acquire a FGT.... It's become a re-occuring correction:cheers Seen at least 5-6 events the last year.

Rumor has it Larry is on even on edge... Some one drove by the other day and said he sit's in the garage all day in the empty space and talks to himself while making grrrrrrrrrr sounds. :rofl

Let me know when you come through NC again....

Welcome back and your ears must have been burning. We were educating some newbies on how someone they had never met helped them get their GT without getting price gouged. Go to this weeks Cars & Coffee and check out my father-in -laws all blue no option 500 mile car I was driving. Look familiar?:wink

What's the address and get together day/time of "Cars & Coffee", please? I'm in Hollywood frequently for business, my kids are there and thought if it's not too far from where I stay in LA, I would like to stop by, if possible and introduce myself to some like-minded west coast FGT-er's.

Yep, still in Cincinnati. Just bought a little company ("ShuttleSystem") that makes (of all things) school furniture- sales and mkting office in Cincy, but mfging/warehouse in Seattle area, so I'll be traveling out there once a month or so.

Still haven't added a garage to my old Tudor house (has a 1-holer under the kitchen with my old Miata squeezed in), so the neighbors have good reason to believe they live next to the Clampetts! (At least none are up on blocks!)
