I have the Airlift coolant vacuum device, and was testing it to suck out the air pockets in coolant system.
I noticed my 4 Gal air compressor does not seem to have enough "gas" to achieve the required venturi vacuum.
i can only get to 10-15 on the meter which is not enough to compress the hoses.
I have a 4 Gal, rated at 5.5 CFM @ 90psi compressor.
Can those of you that have successfully used the Airlift kit please post the specs on the air compressor you used that works with the kit.
I need to buy a new compressor anyways, just didn't want to buy it twice.

thanks

Works well with the Airlift system.

I used it with a 4HP compressor that does about 11 cfm at 90 PSI without issues. The motor wasn't on 100%.

Note that most compressor ratings are optimistic at best! My compressor was rated at 14 cfm at 90 PSI, but I measured it at only 11, assuming the stated gallon capacity.

If space, size and weight and money are not issue I would recommended getting a 5HP+ dual stage compressor that would handle most anything for home use. My dies out if I run a cutoff wheel or die grinder for more than about 30 secs. can't mantain 90 PSI+.
