This indirectly deals with the GT, although I have been searching and have yet to find out all the specs of the GT's fuel system and at what power levels or boost levels it needs to be upgraded.
I am having an aftermarket fuel pump assembly and top hat designed for the 2nd Generation Lightning. The designer has already completed this task for the 03-04 Mustang Cobra (Terminator), a very top quality piece, and is now ready to begin prototyping the Lightning assembly. For this to work, we need to decide on a certain fuel pump to be used. This is where the issue is.
After speaking to Walbro, they are hesitant to release any info on the GT pumps. What flow rate at what PSI and what kind of power levels they will handle. Even though the GT pumps are used in a returnless style system, the pumps have been confirmed per Walbro ok to use in a return style system.
So does any know the specs on the stock pumps, what kind of boost and power they can handle, when they need to be upgraded etc. What about the guys with the TT setup's, are they still on stock fuel systems?
Depending on the fuel assembly itself in the GT, this company may be able to design an aftermarket system for the GT.
Here is the piece they made for the Termi...

Thank you very much in advance, Stan
