But unlike the false hope of danica...........Chris and Joey keep going and pulling through..............snow, earthquakes, 110 degrees, jay leno.........just keep trucking on...and on...........gtjoey1314:biggrin

Are you aware of the differences between the intent of this Forum and a Twitter account?

Heck, your poor spelling, lousy sentence composition, and 'stream of thought' posts are perfect for Twitter. Think of all the 'followers' you could have there!

Give it some serious thought please.

It will be 24x7x365 GTJoey there. All day, all the time, only GTJoey. It can't get much better than that ehhh!?

Twitter is the act of twisting the nipple of a gay male.

It makes me uncomfortable that you know this.

I guess you have never seen me in thongs either! Dig it up, there is an old thread with pictures.:ack

This all started with Danica cant drive.....:lol

With a premise as preposterous as the one you started with..........it's only natural that the like followed.

Do I have to?:bow:bang

Now this thread has more to do with GTs than Danica!

Sounds like Kingman has a poster of the Go Daddy Gal on the wall in his garage!!!!!:frown

Nah.............just somebody that appreciates the POSITIVE impact she is having on NASCAR during times when NASCAR is losing eyeballs and sponsorship.

It also doesn't hurt that her involvement and profile has resulted in 'mainstreaming' women into auto racing.

All the boys here were fairly charged when MATECH ran an all-girls team that also happened to be pleasing to the eye - http://www.fordgtforum.com/forums/showthread.php?19164-Le-Mans-Amazing&highlight=Natacha+Gachnang :eek

(At least Chip seemed fairly pleased)

If you can't appreciate a great looking woman behind the wheel of a race car or say.............a GT, then possibly someone's spending an inordinate amount of time on Fire Island.

Back in the days......I loved reading about Denise McCluggage's accomplishments at Sebring, Europe and the east coast. Janet Guthrie was also a favorite of mine - perhaps because she had been an aerospace engineer.

Denise currently writes a column for AutoWeek, and I cherish her stories because i get to be reminded of the events I read about back in the '50s & '60s.

For all the positive/negative comments about Danica, anyone that can qualify for the Indianapolis 500 has a great amount of racing talent - and to finish 6 out of 7 times in the top 10 (highest - 3rd) says that she not only can drive a car fast, but also can manage the car's conditions to keep it running well at the race's end.

I applaud her tenacity and racing spirit. The fact that she is also a very good looking young lady is a boon for advertising sponsorship, but has nothing to do with her capabilities on the race track where she has shown to excel far greater than most humans.

...and we ought not forget she also WON the Japan 300 Indy car race. 'Don't know about anyone else here on the 'Forum, but, I know Pockets hasn't come within 100 light-years of doing something like that. (I've won a drag race or two, but who amongst us hasn't! :biggrin)

The one thing that Pockets accomplished that none of us have is that..........................

Let me get back to you on that................

Eeeeeeeeeeeeeh, go play with your iPhone!

HHGT, Empty Pockets , Ralphie and Kingman,

Yes it is great to see a woman in racing. Remember Shirlie M???:confused The difference here is,,,that she WAS A CHAMPION!!!:thumbsup And quickly I might add!:cheers
Danica will never be a champion.:frown Maybe win a Nationwide race, but never a Sprint Cup race. The competition is far to superior and highly expierienced.:rofl

But,,,What a looker!!!!!!:cool To hell with blonds, that's one hot brunette!:willy

UhHH, Kingman,

Regarding the Maytech gals,,,that didn't do squat at the 24!
As a matter of fact, Martin fired them for the next season.
It's a shame he passed,,,,he was a great Race Team Leader.
He would have done great with his new crop of drivers.............

 ...why bother
