I tell you what, next to StormCat's bottle holders (my all time favorite), these armrests sure make driving more pleasant on long distances. I love em. Takes 5 minute to install. Don't be shocked by the alcohol pad removing some of the black paint.

Hmm.. I think it's dirt and oil in most cases that rubs off... As the doors are molded plastic if I am not mistaken

No, mine rubbed off some paint. I use alcohol pads daily and recognize dirt and oil from paint.

no need to worry about that since you will never remove these from the car.They should have bin there in the first place.
