Hi - just a quick intro. I've been lurking for a while and registered and subscribed this last week as I've decided that a GT will be the next addition to the garage. This forum has been a huge help in understanding the car better and what to look for etc. It's also been good to see the products the sponsor vendors of this site provide. so Thanks!

So my search begins:
- centennial white with stripes
- upgraded wheels
- indifferent on the caliper color
- sorta indifferent on the stereo - I don't like the stock subwoofer look and location. I've seen the behind the seat modification which will be high on my list if the car I buy has the upgraded stereo (as is the double DIN mod and the carbon fiber console, oh and the bumper delete, and the seat inserts and...)
- no stories car, prefer one adult owner, all documentation etc., reasonably low mileage driver (<4000 miles) though I am open to buying a really low mileage car
- prefer a stock car vs one that has the power upgrades
- prefer an '06
- ideally a california car, but not opposed to out of state for the right car

Thanks - I'm looking forward to finding my car and contributing to the forum.

I have a car inbound that should be exactly what you are looking for. Let me know if I can help....

17 minute response time... what took you so long?? lol

I'll give you a call Tuesday. Thanks, tj

Good luck!

Searching/finding is half the fun. :wink

Good luck in your search. Over the New Year I saw a white blue stripe at Harrold Ford in Sacramento. It had low miles. It was mostly OEM, and I cannot recall if it was 2005 or 6.
Dave Hellenge is the owner and a great car guy. Could be a starting point, with MODs by Shadowman. I have no idea if the car is still available, but not too far from the Bay Area.

Harrold Ford

Sorry but Dave sold the white GT last week to a fellow in far Northern Cal. Dave, as always, gave him the info about this forum so hopefully he'll join. I think that's like over 12 GTs Dave has sold (or close to that number)! I know it's no comparison to Shelby GT but for a very small little dealership it's not bad. Harrold Ford has been in business since 1911 & will for be for a long time to come.

Thanks Ed for updating my input! But like Ed said Dave is a good Calif. source. Shelby is a great source too

Thank you for your professional introduction. It is nice to see that you respect what DBK has built and what many subscribers/participants keep alive for all of our benefit.

Welcome my friend! :thumbsup

Hope to see you here as an owner soon.. Shelby's the man if you need a GT !!

Come on in; the weathers fine
