We are so fortunate to have a world class Concierge team. The entire process has been amazing. I went with the Carbon Series with no accent color Grabber Blue ( same as my 2005 GT "SMURF GT ") . Placed my deposit Nov 1st with Kevin at Pat Milliken. If anyone wants to pick grabber Blue, call me and I will provide you with an alternative similar color :)Axalta Grabber Blue.jpg

Yes, that is what I'm hoping for. Did not want to pay the extra fee to lock the color. I painted my Mustang track car Porsche Mexico Blue and it is almost identical to grabber blue.

Fred, I had that grabber blue model at my house in June. It’s a great color and will look awesome on your GT.

Dudes gotta get over this Ford color thing. You know who doesn't care where the paint came from? Ford. If it was from the American Standard toilet palette, they would be psyched to have you do it, as long as Axalta can formulate it and you give them $30k for it.

Moreover, call either your Concierge or anyone from the Ford Performance marketing staff (at least until they read this and then go study up just in case), and ask them to name 10 Ford historical colors off the top of their head without resorting to Google. Don't worry, I'll wait. Point being, it's just not something a company in the business of building daily drivers knows or cares about. And it's (partially) why they are still (somehow) offering the same ~half dozen colors 4 years after introduction. Of course the companies that build supercars/sportscars for a living will have a much, much broader selection of fitting paints.

Grabber will look very good/nuclear using this paint process. Blown away it took 4 model years for someone to do it.

Fred, I think your paint sample is 1842 Royal throne blue, not grabber blue! Actually, I think it would make a great conversation starter. I sat down, cleared my head and then BAM, it hit me!
