I bought ADV10.1's in mat black on for my 05 white GT and couldn't be happier. I just got an e-mail from them today and they had this car amongst a few other stunning shots. I loved the look and thought I'd share the picture. These guys know now to shoot cars! I need to get them up here to shoot my cars.:lol

Beautiful shot. What wheel/tire combo is that?

They appear to be the ADV1 6.0 wheels in a 10/13" width 19/20" heights, but I can't really tell which tires they are.

They have some more eye candy here as well --

I have been toying with the idea of changing my BBS wheel and tire combo to something really fat in the back end , does anyone have any pics of white GTs with as wide as possible rear wheels and tires , also how much wider can you go over the stock BBS wheels and tires and still get them to fit under the car

Very nice! What do the rims weigh?

It is a great photo. Good lighting, probably early morning or late afternoon. Maybe some Photoshop help too.

You sound like me !! .. :biggrin

I'm not sure what they weigh, although I have been told that they are not heavy - LOL. Fit is no problem as the 10x19 and 13x20's running 275/345 profile PSS tires fit perfectly under the wells with no rubbing whatsoever. Bear in mind that I don't track the car, so i wouldn't know how they fit under that type of duress. Our roads are pretty rough around here and I have never had a rub. ADV1 told me that they are a perfect fit before I ordered them, and they were. You will get about .5" more outside edge on each side with the balance on the inside edge. They do add a lot of beef from a glance at the rear...as you can see here on my car. I did a (adjustable perches) .75" rear and a 1.25" front lowering and still no rub.

These were shot prior to the lowering.

Lot's of room for big brake rotors now. The stock rotors look tiny in those big wheels!

Ed

PS SycoGT can take photos as nice as those or better!

I guess if it were a track car, I'd go with bigger brakes...

FBA, All you need now is a Bumper delete. :biggrin :lol

It is so easy spending other peoples money. :bored

Wanted to do that when I got the car from Shelby in March, but it wouldn't have passed inspection when coming in to Canada. Now that I've got her here...I'm less inclined to do the work here as there are very few shops that can do it correctly. I took the car to a Ford dealer for some basic work - and they couldn't even get that done right. Besides that, Quebecers are shitty drivers and they'd just bang into the GT by being stupid and gawking at the damn thing anyway... LOL

All GTs are track cars!!!

Not mine - LOL. They will never see the track. They are track cars by breed, for sure. So are Vipers, Z06's and ZR1's - not much that can beat those on the track either.

You can fit 345s on the stock BBS wheels and they will be flush with the rear fenders. No wider wheels required.

You could - yes, but they won't have as much sectional width as if you were to increase rim width to a 13". The narrower stock rim will pull the sectional width in.

If it's a "fat back end" one is looking for, the wider rims will get that look over a 345 on the stockers.
