The Houston Cobra Club had a 200 mile run today from Houston to Brenham and back. 20+ Cobra's and one GT! Thought you might enjoy these.

Thanks everyone.

We did do alittle spirited driving. We took some country roads and had fun with the twistee's. (sp) The only car in the bunch that could stay with the GT was a super performance that had a 514 C.I.. And then only in the quarter mile and not in the turns. And my gal is still bone stock. Very few laws were broken and only in very controlled circumstances. Disclaimer made!!!! haha

Boy these cars are fun. Must have had 20 pictures taken of the car every where we stopped and once had a passenger in a ford LTD hang out the window at 70 taking pictures.

Been there, done that. I've turned my car into a $150K lawn-mower a couple of times at the track. The car exceeded the limits of the driver's ability. No damage, but its a bee-atch cleaning the grass and dust out of the car when you get home! Tugboat, nice pictures of the wildflowers in central Texas.

FYI

For you pilots and drivers in texas who have some time the airport in Brenham (The home of Blue Bell Icecream) is an incredible place. The resteraunt is a great place. Food is fabulos and the wait staff are all dressed in 60's dinner attire. (Poodle skirts) The airport is very busy with small aircraft just stopping in for the food. If in texas and have some time stop by.

And they are very Car Crazy!!!
