A great book released in June 2006 on the development of the Ford GT. It includes a velum-style signature letter from Bill Ford, a small art print mimicking the cover design, and a “Pace car for the whole company” DVD featuring the Jeff Zwart-shot “The One” video, as well as a making-of feature on “The One” and a slideshow of development and launch images. This book has never been opened fully, and beyond very slight bookshelf patina, is otherwise as new. Most entertaining is the yearbook-style section of the book of folk involved in the program. Don’t see these volumes pop up that often (mwilson7 listed two here on the forum two years ago: https://www.fordgtforum.com/forums/threads/ford-gt-team-history-books.38681/).
Will do this silent auction style if anyone’s interested – just PM me with any offers – and will give the listing at least a week, which should still leave plenty of time for holiday delivery. Am thinking at least $300 for this piece of history, but will entertain any offers. Will ship anywhere globally, with the buyer paying actual shipping costs for whatever type/rapidity of service they prefer (USPS, UPS, FedEx, wagon train, etc.). Thanks and Happy Holidays!
