There are quite a few 05/06s in Australia. Just saw a 2017 here in western Australia. Left hand drive. Will try to find out more..

Thought the GT's initially might come under a special exemption from going to RHD, but I guess not rare/significant enough.
So if I get back to Aust one day (thats my plan) I might have met the 30 year rule by then and can stay LHD.
The new GT will qualify as a speciality vehicle so you think it will get on road rego under this rarity category ?
I was reading years ago abut importation regs on cars and I think as an owner (of car in another country) they would devalue the vehicle a certain % per year of ownership (based on what person paid for it) and then that was your import valuation tax to be paid.
If you buy it from the US like all the GT's in Aust then the tax is based on that number?
