FORD GT question

Like many on here I bought my GT cos I love them and if it goes up in value then that's a bonus

However....looking at it in the garage is driving me mad. Here in the UK if the roads aren't covered in salt they're wet and dirty. So I'm now torn....do I just polish it all year or should I go out and enjoy it and to hell with the fact that's it might be getting dirty and chipped.
Mine definitely has gotten very dirty, even wet on occasion. I don't go out and intentionally drive it in the rain, but I have gotten caught, more than once. I do have the nose, mirrors, sides, etc. "wrapped" and yet I have many chips, they definitely "bother" me when I see them, yet when I get in the car and press on the "happy pedal", all such thoughts disappear. Better to drive and smile, than sit and think about what it must be like to go for a ride, chips be damned!!!!

I don't think a car counts as capital gains. I will check, but somehow I think it isn't a capital gains instrument.

If you hold the title personally, it is C G exempt.

I wouldn't expose the GT's aluminum to the salt. 'Mucho bad idea. 'Would wait (hard as it may be!) 'til they stop putting that stuff on the roads and the rain has had a good chance to get rid of it.

That's what I thought - thanks for the heads up!
