Ford GT - Chevy Transmission

Did you know that the Ricardo Transaxle has a chevy ‘fine spline’ shaft? Or at least it is a perfect match for it. I was surprised to find that out when sizing up the hub for a new clutch.

Yes Viper, charger, mustang, corvette and the Ford GT all share the 26slpine input shaft. Ford didn't start using a 26 spline till the Ford GT and then the Gt500 was the next vehicle to get it. Most upgrade the older Mustangs to 26 spline from the original 10 spline that has been around since the begining of stick transmissions for Ford.

True - the sons' Cobra was upgraded to 26 spline and the 69 Mach1 will also soon be 26 spline when ever the hell Kiesler starts finally sending the new "drop in" RS600..... it will take 8 months ARO at last promise date.... %*^$(*_%

the back order on FGT parts aren't even that bad.....
