I'm there! A lot of people owe me drinks so it's time to collect my debts!

Ron is absolutely right. The Rally is a great way to meet people with the same passion for the FGT and cars in general. It is one of the absolute highlights of the year for me. Great Great fun at the track and other events - truely awesome group of people to hang out with during the spare time.

:cheers

I still remember a VM inviting me to rally 1, I was like am "I sure I want to do this"? What is this group going to be like? Well that was 6 rally's ago, great group. Where else will you EVER be in a line of traffic, where the windshield, and the rearview mirror is full of gt's, in every color, pretty amazing!

Have been to all but Rally 5. DBK has done a fantastic job of providing a balanced program for attendees, all in great venues. :thumbsup

If you are on the fence, you will be glad that you made the decision to attend -- whether your interests lie in amazing people, organized drives in the area, or track time (no matter your experience level), you already own the main cost of entry - the best American supercar!

Owners like IndyGT -- who has helped to broaden the experience for this event, by adding a 'better half' opportunity -- is indicative of the quality of the people you'll meet.

Thanks Cobrar!

I have been to every one of Dave's rallys and the first was the biggest mystery. Who would show up, what would they be like, what would we do, etc. It was spectacular. To see Ford actually building the GT's on the production line, having access to roam, watch and talk to the production team workers and seeing them bring a GT to life for the first time was an incredible experience never to be relived. And the rallys just get better each year.

As Copenhagen GT correctly points out it is a yearly highlight for me as well. My wife also enjoyes the event, she just has "other" interests which is fine. Over the years she and other lady attendees have discussed having other opportunity venues catered to them. I am just glad she supports me in my auto ownership passion so we put together the cooking class opportunity for those who might want to consider something else taylored to the New Orleans region.

I do hope new owners on the rally attendance fence will decide to try it out. It is a great experience for all.

Big Agreement to all stated above....Margaret and I have been to every Rally --Detroit to Salt Lake City last year !!. Our daughter Megan attended Newport Beach via Scottsdale and Chip's house and rode with George on the Angelis Mountain Highway. These events have generated some ''great family photos'' with Carroll Shelby, Camillo, fellow GT owners and some true 'GT Racers' that frequent this forum.
Megan came to Las Vegas for a few days too..!
So my point is... BRING THE WIVES AND DAUGHTERS AND GIRLFRIENDS TOO. Margaret and I will be trailering down to NewOrleans and Megan is working on how she can get some time off from Medical School to attend...
Looking forward to seeing everyone...
