Finally got an Air Gauge worth while

My good friends at America's Tire gave me this after telling them how frustrated I was with Air Gauges. Brand new in a box and $0.00

Does it hold the reading? Ie mine all release once pulled off stem. I had an old one that held the reading and have spent $$ since and cannot find a decent one.

I have several from Longacre Racing that work very well.

I went with PSIClops - http://www.vulcantire.com/psiclops_tire_gauges.htm This way, both sides are balanced.

I have one for my Harley Motorcycles. OfficialHarley Davidson product. It has a round head/sweep needle and stainless steel braided hose. I use it on my cars too. It has a nice feature in that after you take the pressure measurement, the needle remains ''in position'' for you to read it. Then after reading , you push a button to release the pressure in the gage. It also has a 'Tread Depth" measuring device for checking tire wear.
only about $20.00 if I recall at the Harley Dealership.

It is hard to find a acurate tire pressure gauge, I have 5-6 the all read slightly different:bored, some even read a different pressure if I check the same tire twice!:frown
If any one has found a good durable acurate gauge they are happy with let me know.

they have 50+ airpressure gauges.

Rule of thumb is get the largest dial, as it is much easier to be precise on settings.

I went with PSIClops - This way, both sides are balanced.

Thanks much Herb! I've been looking for some sort of balancing system, ever since I used a 4 tire system set up, at a recent autocross event.

But I like your PSIClops 2 tire system even better, since matching front and rear pressures by set, will be ideal for my needs, as opposed to matching all 4 tires.
