Actually, we had a pretty good feburary. Nothing like LAST feburary, but still a good month. I imagine the used market is doing MUCH better than the NEW market.
It's all about used. With the prices in the used car markets, they can't give away new cars. Why would you pay $262k for a new LP560 when you know it's going to be $220k by the time you get it home and $175k in 3 months?
Did you see that 14k mile 07 LP640 that sold for $199k?? I mean WTF?!? Can't see too many people walking in volunteering to spend $360k on a new one with that kind of stuff going on.

Its ruff, but the used stuff will dry up soon and new stuff will recover if they can ride out the storm. Glad they are not still making GTs 
I just picked up an SL550 with 6000 miles on her for 1/2 of what a new one would cost. Witnessing the slaughtering of high end cars at the auction lanes was sobering. Many of the Porsche Cayennes are destined for export to Honk Kong.
If memory serves, Lambo, pre Audi, in the morass that was Chrysler owned, Arab owned, etc. had years with sub 50 unit sales, right?
I realize that the Audi based cars are terrific, but the pricing, particularly on the 12 cyl cars is just plain nuts.
And BTW, the timing of all the other luxo super sedans (the Lambo Estoque, AM Rapide, Bentley Flying Spur, etc.) couldn't be worse. Kinda reminds one of the supercar excess of early '90s.
I know the ultra wealthy will always have $$ for their toys, but I bet some of these suffer an early death, if they're not outright stillborn.

Does Lamborghini make a new limited production car that costs over $1 million dollars? I have not heard of such an expensive Lambo. I was told by a very credible source however that a local customer put a $1 million deposit down upon a car that cost nearly 1.3 million dollars. After the car was built by Lamborghini the dealership did not have the money to pay for it and the customers seven-figure deposit had already been spent by the dealership. The car has not been delivered, the customer has lost his money, and lawsuits are flying. In a bankruptcy proceeding, customer deposits have no greater claim than any other creditor and everybody will receive pennies on the dollar.
Something to think about when ordering an expensive automobile during these trying times.
