I rather liked the understated comment when showing the Carrera GT 'I'm somewhat embarrassed to say that I haven't had the opportunity of driving this yet....!'
It reminded me of a comment from someone with a 60,000 acre Grouse moor who didn't shoot on it - when asked about it he said, 'well you probably have a chess board at home, when was the last time you played?'
As many of us have remarked over the past couple of years, the fact that the Ford GT lives comfortably alongside Zonda's, F40's, Koennigsegg's, Lamborghini's etc is a testament to just how beautifully engineered our cars are and a tacit demonstration of what Ford can produce when minded to.
